Here is the first picture of our 2nd little angel. This was at 8 1/2 weeks. We are now 11 weeks pregnant and almost to our 2nd trimester, yay! No more morning sickness! I have been a little under the weather at certain times of the day but it seems to be getting better. I am also getting more energy. I am still exhausted at night but at least I don't want to sleep all day anymore. My stomach is poked out already and my tummy muscles are sore all the time. I am anxious to know what we are having. I have started a poll to see who thinks what (you can chime in if you want). I have saved ALL of Kadence's things from birth so we are prepared for pink but blue is wonderful too. We just want a healthy pregnancy and baby. This economy is really effecting us. When we were pregnant with Kadence, I was employeed and had wonderful insurance. Our deductable was very reasonable and insurance covered most of the charges at birth...but we had to get an individual policy now and our deductable is high so that our monthly payment is lower (its extremely high though) so we are struggling to meet our deductable...Ahhhh! What a wonderful thing insurance is - it is almost cheaper for us to just pay for the pregnancy visits and delivery out of pocket. That's sad!
Anyway - God will watch over us and provide. I am just overwhelmed with worry, its my nature. I am budgetting and trying to save as much as I can for the delivery. Wish us luck.
Kadence is growing like a weed and talking clearer everyday. She is so amazing. We were in KY for the weekend and got to visit with her cousins and other friends. It was nice to see her playing so well with other children since she stays at home with me and only plays with Savannah. We are learning to share and she is doing very well with it...although she has her moments. ;) She didn't sleep very well (which means neither did Mommy) but she had fun. Needless to say we are very tired today. Infact, it's almost 10 am and she is still sleeping with her Daddy. Must be nice!
My little sister is due March 9 but has unfortunately come down with Mono - I know, crazy, right? She is going to the doctor today to try to get them to make a decission about what to do since she is pretty tired from the infection, also to find out the details about contagiousness, etc. I wanted to be present for the birth but I don't want to get sick while I am pregnant and definately don't want to bring it home to Kadence or Eldon. I have had mono (in high school) and it is said that you can't get it again but I don't want to take the chance. I really hope everything works out and I can be there to see that precious little Carleigh be born. I can't wait to meet her and see my first neice! Keep her and Carleigh in your prayers!
That's about it in our world. I will be going to the doctor again on the 13th so I will update more later.
Big hugs as always!
