The yucky cold weather is here for real. I don't like it. Kadence played in the leaves the other day and had a blast. Daddy was trying to rake them up but we live in the boon docks so there were like a million and they kept falling as he was raking. Hillarious! He was dragging them to the back yard to the woods on a tarp and Kadence thought it was so much fun to jump in the pile and let Daddy drag her to the back. We got some cute pictures of it.
We are gradually getting Chrismas (Ho-ho) stuff out of the basement. No tree yet but trying to get Kadence's mind off of Boo's from Halloween and "apples" aka pumpkins. Of course, everything right now is "mine." I HATE that word! If she says it, I correct her by saying, "No, that's a _____" Whatever it is that she is calling mine. Her vocabulary triples everyday it seems. She is almost talking in sentences now. She will tell me something and then say "I don't know," or "where did it go?"
Her little friend Emma is the topic of many conversations. She will say "Where Emma go?" several times a day. We went and played over there today and Savannah really enjoyed it. She didn't want to leave. Kadence had fun as always. They played with blocks, babies (of course), little people and play food and cooking stuff while Mommy and Ms. Rachel got to chat. I really enjoy the time because I can actually have a coversation and use adult sentences instead of communicating with toddlers. Plus, Rachel and I are becoming closer and that's the best part. I love having wonderful friends nearby. We are looking for a house in their neighborhood so that the girls can play more often and we can have friends nearby too. They adopted us into their family so we can actually call them family nearby. :)
Well - that's about it for now. We are looking forward to seeing everyone for Thanksgiving. We are not 100% sure where we are going yet but we will be seeing some of you all soon.
Lots of love and big hugs!!!!

Emma had a great time playing with all of you too. She keeps playing with her babies, which she had ignored for awhile before you guys played with her. Glad we are getting closer too. You are a great friend.
Rachel
Hi, Jessica,
Thank you for your comment on our blog today. It was nice to meet you at Rachel's on Halloween. Sorry we had to leave so soon. Maybe we'll see each other again sometime.
We truly appreciate your prayers as we go through this sad time.
Adrienne
